10 Reasons Why C is the Best Programming Language For Beginners
With the plethora of programming languages these days, and the massive programming information available in the Internet, it can be difficult for a beginner like you to know where to start. When it comes to programming language for beginners, C is an excellent choice. Not only will it educate you of programming fundamentals, this language is also powerful and is widely used in the industry today.
Here are the reasons why C is a great programming language to begin with:
1. You can't learn Java or C directly.
For you to learn and master C and Java languages, you should have a rock-solid concept of the elements of programming like classes, polymorphism, inheritance, and others. Come to think about it, how will you learn complicated concepts like these if you are not even familiar with the basic elements of computer programming? The language that starts from scratch is C and its foundational concepts are the basis of any other programming concepts we have these days.
2. It is the basis of C , C#, and Java.
C and C# are programming languages based on C. Java also derives its syntax and programming concept from C. This is known as the world's most dominant programming language and it is also derived from C language.
3. Programs that need Object Oriented Programming (OOP) are written in C.
Java, C#, and C employ OOP. Despite being powerful, not all programs use it and those utilizing it are still written in C.
4. C boasts unbeatable performance.
When it comes to speed of execution, C is still unmatched.
5. Most parts of Linux, Windows, and Unix are written in C.
So if you want to program these OS, or if you wish to have your programs run in the said operating systems, better be familiar with C.
6. Drivers of modern gadgets are written in C.
Why is this so? Well simply because C gives users access to the computer's basic elements. It also provides you with direct access to your CPU's memory by means of pointers. You can also use C to control bits and bytes.
7. Mobile phones, PDAs, palmtops and other handheld devices as well as appliance are becoming more popular than ever.
You may not be aware of it, but your handheld devices and home appliances may contain CPU that requires programming and has software dubbed as embedded system programs.
8. Most PC games employ C as their foundation.
No one will be interested in games if it takes too much time for commands to be done. C is used to make things fast and prompt.
9. C is considered as mid-level language.
Programming languages are categorized into three - Low Level, Middle Level, and High Level. Aside from being user-oriented, high level languages also make development of programs fast enough. Machine oriented, low level languages execute programs faster. Middle level languages like C combines the best attributes of the high and low level languages.
10. C is a block-structured language.
This means every code is written in separate block and is not connected with the code in the next block. With this, you can make programming easier and you can minimize the possibilities of unnecessary side effects.
With the above-mentioned reasons, do you still have doubts why C is the best computer programming language for beginners?

The Different Types of Programming Languages - Learn the Basics
The progression of computer programming languages was made possible by the programmer's search for efficient translation of human language into something that can be read and understood by computers. The languages generated, called machine code, have high levels of abstraction, which hide the computer hardware and make use of representations that are more convenient to programmers.
As programs evolve and become more sophisticated, programmers found out that certain types of computer languages are easier to support. As expected in a dynamic discipline, there is no standard for categorizing the languages used in programming. There are, in fact, dozens of categories. One of the most basic ways to categorize the languages is through a programming paradigm, which gives the programmer's view of code execution. Among the languages classifications according to programming paradigm are:
o Object-Oriented Programming Languages
Known as the newest and most powerful paradigms, object-oriented programming requires the designer to specify the data structures as well as the types of operations to be applied on those data structures. The pairing of data, and the operations that can be done on it is called an object. A program made using this language is therefore made up of a set of cooperating objects instead of an instructions list.
The most famous object-oriented programming these days are C#, C , Visual Basic, Java, and Python.
o Structured Programming Languages
An exceptional type of procedural programming, structured programming provides programmers with additional tools to handle the problems created by larger programs. When using this language, programmers are required to cut program structure into small pieces of code that can easily be understood. Instead of using global variables, it employs variables that are local to every subroutine. Among the popular features of structured programming is that it doesn't accept GOTO statement which is usually associated with the top-down approach. Such approach starts with an opening overview of the system with minimal details about the various parts. To add these details, design iterations are then included to complete the design.
Commonly used structured languages include C, Pascal, and ADA.
o Procedural Programming Languages
Procedural Programming involves a list of operations the program needs to complete to be able to attain the preferred state. It is a simple programming paradigm where every program comes with a starting phase, a list of tasks and operations, and an ending stage. Also called imperative programming, this approach comes with small sections of code that perform certain functions. These sections are made up of procedures, subroutines, or methods. A procedure is made up of a list of computations that should be done. Procedural programming lets a part of the code to be used again without the need to make several copies. It achieves this by dividing programmatic tasks into small sections. Because of this, programmers are also capable of maintaining and understanding program structure.
Among the known procedural languages are BASIC and FORTRAN.
These are the different types of computer programming languages that you can consider when planning to make a computer program. Procedural programming splits the program's source code into smaller fragments. Structured languages require more constraints in the flow and organization of programs. And object-oriented programs arrange codes and data structures into objects.

How To Flash A Phone To Cricket Or Metro PCs
Flash or Flashing--Technically, flashing refers to the overwriting or re-writing of the phone's firmware. There are many phones which can be flashed to cricket with all features working. On most CDMA phones, programming the phone can be done "over the air" by dialing a special code, usually *228 or some variation. Colloquially speaking, flashing can also loosely mean making a phone from one carrier work on another carrier. The easy way to tell the difference is that if your phone does NOT take a SIM card, then it is probably CDMA.
To flash a phone to cricket you will be overwriting th phones firmware. The firmware is software in the phone that doesn't change when you turn it off, and it cannot be deleted unless it is overwritten, hence flashed. It requires specific files called prl files.PRL or PRL File--Short for Preferred Roaming List--A small text file containing instructions for how a phone connects to a specific network's radio towers It is usually loaded by connecting the phone to a computer to overwrite its data. There are a few tools used such as a pst PST--Short for Phone Service Tool or Tools--Special software used by phone manufacturers to program their phones. And also a monster file - -"Monster File"/"Monster Pack", ROM, or "Kitchen"--System software that is needed to flash a phone.
In almost all case you will need to access the phones service programming menu- - -Service Programming Menu--A special menu typically hidden from the primary User Interface that allows for "deep programming" of a phone. You will also need access to msl and spc codes specific to the device you are flashing.MSL/SPC--Special six-digit codes needed to access service programming features on the phone. Access to the service programming menu can be disabled in a phone's firmware.
Depending on your phone, it may require extra steps to unlock or get WAP and MMS working. That is why you need the msl/spc codes to allow deep programming to unlock these features. Not all phones will be capable to access wap or send and receive mms.
Ringtones generally have to be prepaid using a flex bucket. It is best to download ringtones before you flash your phone to cricket since they have a limited selection of ringtones and wallpapers. There are cases were flashed phones will not be able to download ringtones directly from cricket.
The details outlined above will not only work with cricket but you can also flash phones to metro pcs using the information provided above. It is best to do all your research before purchasing your phone to ensure that the cell phone you are interested in can be flashed to cricket or metro PCs.

8 Essential Ways To Lower Cortisol And Feel Great!
What is Cortisol?
Cortisol is the primary stress hormone that is secreted by the 2 cap-sized glands that are located on top of your kidneys in response to stress. It has been described as a low-grade adrenaline.
Mother nature equipped us with this hormone to assist us in situations where we had to "fight-or-flight" such as running from a lion or other predator. Its job is to quickly convert stored energy sources in the body into usable energy to save your life. This is one of its good points. In the old days, there weren't too many situations in which we were triggered into a fight-or-flight situation. Today, however, stress responses are everywhere. We as a society are constantly stressing out over bills, going to work, relationships, poor food choices, dehydration, overtraining with exercise, lack of adequate sleep, and those are just for starters! Every time the body becomes stressed, cortisol is released from the adrenal glands to combat the stressors on the chemical side.
This chronic elevation in cortisol is extremely detrimental to your health. It has been linked to, but not limited to, adrenal fatigue, hormonal imbalances, heart disease, excessive blood sugar levels, elevated cholesterol, and pretty much anything else you can think of that stress can create in the human body.
Other unwanted side effects of chronically elevated cortisol levels include excess bodyfat, particularly around the midsection, and depressed sex hormone levels, which kills the sex drive in both men and women. It also breaks down muscle tissue, which can really put a hold on your results in the gym.
Cortisol is naturally secreted in the body on a pretty set schedule throughout the day. It peaks at about 8am to get you out of bed and ready to start your day. Throughout the day, cortisol levels begin to drop off and reach their lowest at about 8-10 pm so that you can fall asleep. A cortisol rhythm that is disrupted by chronic stress, both mentally and physically, can impair your ability to fall asleep or even stay asleep.
I have been able to assist many of my clients improve their sleep consistency and quality simply by cutting their stress levels down, and using the tips that I am about to give you. The following tips will assist you in decreasing your cortisol levels and allow you to improve your health and achieve your ideal body.
Ways to Reduce your Cortisol:
1. Use cortisol reduction supplements: I use a variety of herbs in my clinic to reduce cortisol at peak times. Some of my favorites include: ashwaghanda, phosphatidylserine, and rhodiola rosea.
2. Eat at regular intervals throughout the day: Avoid skipping meals, as this will create a cortisol release.
3. Eat right for your Metabolic Type: Excessive carbohydrate intake creates cortisol release in response to constantly elevated insulin levels. Find out your metabolic type and eat consistently with it.
4. Utilize stress reduction techniques at peak cortisol times: Neuro-linguistic Programming, meditation, self-hypnosis, or simply lying on the floor doing belly breathing for 10-15 minutes can work wonders at reducing stress and thus cortisol levels.
5. Get to bed on time: Get to bed by 10:30 pm at the latest.
6. Avoid stimulants: Stay away from energy drinks that contain ephedra-like compounds and caffeine. Stimulants shift the body into sympathetic dominance, ie. "fight or flight". Stimulants can also disrupt your sleeping patterns. If you must have your daily coffee, be sure that you do not drink any after 12 noon.
7. Keep your workouts under 1 hour: At the 1 hour mark, your testosterone levels begin to decline and cortisol levels rise. Forty-five minute workouts are even better.
8. Do not overtrain: Strength coach Charles Poliquin recommends not training more than 2 days in a row. Doing so will simply overtax the hormonal system and therefore increase cortisol levels. Listen to your body. If you do not feel recovered from your previous workout, simply take an extra day off or reduce the number of sets you perform in your workout.

IF-THEN Statements With Microsoft Excel
One of the basic statements for financial modeling is the IF-THEN function in Excel. While this may not be considered as robust as other approaches when doing actual computer programming (C++, Java, VB), in Excel it is rather straightforward and ubiquitous.
There are a couple of things to remember when using the IF-THEN approach:
* For basic results like "if this cell equals dog put a bone in the cell next to it" or "if the cell on my right equals rain display an umbrella sign in the cell below" or something like that. IF-THEN works well for binary situations, and is a method that the basic financial modeler can use and understand readily easily. The beauty of the function at its most basic level is the simplicity.
* IF-THEN can also be used for non-binary situations, meaning that one can "nest" several sub IF-THEN statements within the cell. For example, let's assume that you had four triggering events: apple, orange, grape and banana. Depending upon the word that was in a cell, there would be one of four results. This would look like:
=IF(A1="Apple","Watch for worm",IF(A1="Orange","Citrus",IF(A1="Grape","Soon to be a raisin",IF(A1="Banana","Don't slip on the peel","Do nothing")))).
You will notice that the last bit of this text includes "do nothing", which captures any text that is not one of the specified amounts you are seeking. If there were only four options (that somehow the input cell was blocked to prevent anything other than those four choices), the code would look like this:
=IF(A1="Apple","Watch for worm",IF(A1="Orange","Citrus",IF(A1="Grape","Soon to be a raisin","Don't slip on the peel"))).
By definition, only four choices will yield three IFs - think about the fourth IF as silent to help you see why this is the case.
* The financial modeler can also link IF-THEN statements to apply a mathematical operator to two or more statements in the cell. Thus, you could create a formula like =IF(A1="Pie",1,0)+IF(B1="Soup",2,0)+IF(C1="Water",3,0). You can do this with any operator and is useful if there are discrete components to the model you are developing. As you ultimately get further into advanced modeling, this can be used for triggers, or cells that create an influx of additional information when turned to a true state. Further discussion on that will occur as we move to intermediate level issues, but just remember that there is flexibility in the IF-THEN statement from this particular perspective.
* One shortcoming of the IF-THEN statement usage is that you can only have up to seven nested statements EVER in any function in Excel. For examples, the following is a maxed out version of the IF-THEN statement:
=IF(C5=1,1,IF(C5=2,2,IF(C5=3,3,IF(C5=4,4,IF(C5=5,5,IF(C5=6,6,IF(C5=7,7,IF(C5=8,8,"No")))))))) - if you try to add another nested IF statement, you will get an error message. Part of the rationale behind that is because evaluating the IF-THEN in the standard Excel environment (as well as computer language in general) takes some time to evaluate. Granted, it is not a lot of time when thinking about a machine calculating something faster than us, but each of the evaluation steps requires computing speed and memory. If you can imagine a nested 20-step IF-THEN statement in your mind and pretend that you must evaluate that statement in order until the last part of it, you will begin to see why there needs to be extra time for the computer to do analyze it. Thus, seven is the cutoff point, but in reality, you should never need that many nested IF-THEN statements anyway.
In summary, the IF-THEN statement can be a very useful, simple approach to binary and certain non-binary situations. It is not perfect for larger database inquiries or very large spreadsheets wherein the answer to the IF-THEN drives the model, but it can suffice for everyday simple financial modeling applications, and it easy to implement and interpret.

Fox Network Television History
The Fox Network television history has not all been plain sailing. It was launched in October 1986 after the parent company of 20th Century Fox, TCF Holdings, sold 50% of its shares to News Corporation for 0 million in 1985. New Corporation then bought six television stations in various major cities from Metromedia. At this time, the stations that they bought were broadcastings to just 22% of households in the United States. Once they started broadcasting as Fox in 1986 there were reaching 80%. This however, was not enough to be considered alongside the other three main networks of ABC, CBS and NBC who were reaching over 97%. Fox was still in its infancy at this point and although it had many plans in the pipeline it was only broadcasting one show - The Late Show Starring Joan Rivers.
The network was seen to have a young and slightly irreverent outlook in its programming and was soon broadcasting shows such as 'Married... with Children' and 'The Tracey Ullman Show'. It was not long before 'The Simpsons' was born and this went on to be the longest running animated series and situation comedy in the history of U.S. television. Fox Network television history was being made.
'America's Most Wanted' was the next big success story in Fox Network television history and was the first show to make it into the top 50 shows of the week in the all important Nielson ratings. The show is still among the prime time hits. Although Fox was well on its way to being recognised as a top network broadcaster, its ranking with the other big three was still elusive.
This all changed in 1993 when Fox gained the National Football League coverage contract. Until then this had been the rights of CBS, where it had found its home since the 1950s. After just one season of the NFL coverage, Fox had to be considered alongside CBS, ABC and NBC... the big three had become the big four. Around the same time, Fox started to broadcast some soap operas aimed at the younger audience and these were popular from the outset. Shows such as 'Beverly Hills 90210' and 'Melrose Place' were an important part of the Fox network but even they were beaten on viewing figures by 'The X-Files'. This was the networks entrance ticket to the Top 25 in the Nielson rating schedule.
Since then, Fox Network television history has given us such shows as 'Family Guy', 'King of the Hill' and many reality shows such as 'Joe Millionaire'. Such shows are not popular with everyone and some have knocked the network for broadcasting distasteful viewing. However, the finale of the first series of 'Joe Millionaire' was watched by over 40 million people. The figures speak for themselves. Fox has always been an entertainment channel. It has never faired well with news reporting but has found its own niche where it entertains and brightens up the lives of millions of viewers throughout the United States.

Sample Resume Objectives - Good, But Summaries Are Smokin'!
Since college I've been told that a resume ought to have an "objective statement" at the top. Maybe you've been told the same.
I'm here to tell you somebody's been lying to you!
Well, not necessarily, but maybe. Every resume has an objective, but not every resume has to have an objective statement. So before you get the urge to search online for sample resume objectives, keep reading.
Every resume has an objective. How you TALK about that objective in the resume is a different matter entirely.
An objective statement simply states your objective. I got a four-year degree so I could make brilliant statements like that. But it's true, and most of the sample resume objectives you'll find online are statements of what the job seeker wants.
That's a mistake. A bad mistake.
A good resume objective statement should tell the reader what the candidate will do for him. Specifically, it ought to tell him what profit the candidate will add.
No, I'm not kidding. Here's an example of what I mean:
"A highly experienced sales and marketing professional with comprehensive strategic planning and implementation skills, and million in total profit improvement added in 8 years, seeking a position as a Sales Manager where these skills will add similar or greater value."
Wow! That objective statement screams, "Keep reading!" Do YOU know any hiring manager or executive who would turn his nose up at million in 8 years? I don't. It's at least worth talking to you about, which means you'll get an interview. What if it was only million, or 0,000? Whatever the number, it's money, and that counts.
And that, folks, is the magic. Everything in the job search process should have a focused purpose, and be done on purpose. The purpose of your resume and cover letter is to compel an interview. A strong objective statement like that can help.
Feel free to start with a sample or three. Just be sure to modify any sample you use. Keep the good and scrap the bad.
But is that the best you can do? Hardly.
I have nothing against objective statements, and you can find some solid sample resume objectives online. My only gripe is that using a solid objective statement is settling for good when there's a (typically) better alternative.
That alternative is the resume summary. Some might call it a "Profile," or a "Summary of Qualifications," or even just "Qualifications." Whatever the name, it's a grab-'em-by-the-throat killer. Here's an example of what I'm talking about:
"Savvy, results-oriented leader with proven success in managing multimillion-dollar software product rollouts to disparate sales channels. Background includes launching a high-productivity expert development team, increasing revenue by .5 million and achieving unit profitability within nine months (six months ahead of plan), at Widgets, Inc., with leading technology and feature-rich product releases to meet known demand. Critical thinker and adept negotiator who can apply extensive industry knowledge to profitable vendor partnerships and revenue-enhancing co-branding opportunities. Expertly directs development, technology integration, and customer demand discovery. Published author, and frequent keynote speaker at industry conferences."
Good grief! If the example resume objective a few paragraphs ago was solid, that summary will leave a reader gasping for air.
Put a summary like that in a resume (with your own qualifications in it, of course), and you'll almost certainly get a phone call for a job interview.
I can hear you saying that whoever has the summary you just read can walk on water. What about lowly old you? Here's what I used on my last resume, and I wasn't a high-powered executive either:
"Results-oriented software developer and consulting project manager with six years' experience at Big 5 firm. Experienced OO developer with particular expertise in Java and Extreme Programming (XP). Over seven years' experience developing software and managing projects in challenging, fast-paced consulting environments. Demonstrated ability to acquire technical knowledge and skills rapidly. Innovative problem solver, able to see the business and technical sides of a problem. Proven leadership, negotiation and problem resolution abilities. Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written. Published author and conference speaker."
See? That summary needs some improvement, but it shows mere mortals can do it too. That means you can.
A powerfully stated objective statement makes your resume pop. A powerfully stated summary makes it a thermonuclear explosion. Most others in the resume pile (and there's always a pile) have objectives that translate into "get a job." Then you come along with a Sherman tank summary. They're dead meat.
Make no mistake, job search is war. Powerful summaries give you an advantage.

Advantages of Mathematics
Many of us wondered about the advantages of Mathematics during our childhood days. Many of us were not able to comprehend the benefits of mathematics beyond the daily usage of calculating simple numbers. Let us see in detail what are some of the benefits of learning mathematics and marveling at this arduous subject at early age.
The importance of mathematics is two-fold, it is important in the advancement of science and two, it is important in our understanding of the workings of the universe. And in here and now it is important to individuals for personal development, both mentally and in the workplace.
Mathematics equips pupils with a uniquely powerful set of tools to understand and change the world. These tools include logical reasoning, problem-solving skills, and the ability to think in abstract ways. Mathematics is important in everyday life, many forms of employment, science and technology, medicine, the economy, the environment and development, and in public decision-making.
One should also be aware of the wide importance of Mathematics, and the way in which it is advancing at a spectacular rate. Mathematics is about pattern and structure; it is about logical analysis, deduction, calculation within these patterns and structures. When patterns are found, often in widely different areas of science and technology, the mathematics of these patterns can be used to explain and control natural happenings and situations. Mathematics has a pervasive influence on our everyday lives, and contributes to the wealth of the individual.
The study of mathematics can satisfy a wide range of interests and abilities. It develops the imagination. It trains in clear and logical thought. It is a challenge, with varieties of difficult ideas and unsolved problems, because it deals with the questions arising from complicated structures. Yet it also has a continuing drive to simplification, to finding the right concepts and methods to make difficult things easy, to explaining why a situation must be as it is. In so doing, it develops a range of language and insights, which may then be applied to make a crucial contribution to our understanding and appreciation of the world, and our ability to find and make our way in it.
Increasingly, employers are looking for graduates with strong skills in reasoning and problem solving - just the skills that are developed in a mathematics and statistics degree.
Let us look at a few examples. The computing industry employs mathematics graduates; indeed, many university computing courses are taught by mathematicians. Mathematics is used to create the complex programming at the heart of all computing. Also cryptography, a form of pure mathematics, is deployed to encode the millions of transactions made hourly via the Internet and when we use debit or credit cards. Mathematics and Computer Science is a popular degree choice, and four-year degrees with a placement in industry are also available. The latter give graduates plenty of relevant experience to increase their employability.
Mathematics led to the perfect ratios shown in Renaissance painting. The study of astronomy in the early times of its inception demanded the expansion of our understanding of mathematics and made possible such realizations as the size and weight of the earth, our distance from the sun, the fact that we revolve around it, and other discoveries that allowed us to move forward in our body of knowledge without which we would not have any of our modern marvels of technology.
The computer itself is a machine built upon the principles of mathematics, being an invention so important as to bring about an economic revolution of efficiency in data communication and processing.

NLP Eye Movement - A Powerful Technique in Neurolinguistic Programming
NLP eye movement or neurolinguistic programming eye pattern movements consist of a methods intended to determine whether an individual you are speaking with is kinesthetic, auditory or visual in his selected communication and learning approach. Every person has a specific choice regarding communication and learning though other styles can emerge on several occasions.
Aside from the three approaches, there is one more neurolinguistic programming eye pattern movement domain ñ the auditory digital. Among the four, it is not a preferred type. There are instances when your score comes out equal for the visual, kinesthetic and auditory but others still choose a specific domain like the visual. When that happens, an individual have more visual attributes rather auditory and kinesthetic attributes.
Now, written questionnaire which will help you identify a person's chosen style is not always available. Thus a quick visual evaluation for NLP eye movement is a perfect alternative. Make a fast and precise evaluation when you will personally speak with someone. Or, when you decide to talk with the respondent through email or on the telephone, you can combine words and phrases together with a mixture of visual, auditory and kinesthetic domain.
When talking to your respondent, be very attentive of the language that he or she is using in order for you to determine their approach properly. Look for the specific neurolinguistic programming eye pattern movement when conversing with him or her, most especially when your respondent answers your inquiries. Identifying his or her style can indicate that you may fiddle with your language to make your respondent becomes comfortable talking to you.
Using the NLP eye movement patterns, it would be very beneficial if can create an immediate rapport with your patient. This way, the patient's reactions will be very spontaneous which will lead you to have an accurate assessment. So, when raising a question to your respondent, observe if he looks up before responding, if he does, he is on the visual domain. Or if your respondent stares sideways prior to answering, he is on the auditory domain.
You will know that your respondent is in kinesthetic realm of NLP eye movement pattern once he stares down to his right. This should be a major indicator that you should be alert about with your patients. This would indicate that the patient is in digital auditory domain when he stares down at his left side or on the area around the location of the heart. Responds are quick so be sure to be very attentive.

How To Lead Praise and Worship - 3 Keys to Success
If you want to learn how to lead praise and worship that flows there are some things that you can do to encourage this. One of the most common problems I see in many praise and worship leaders is that the service does not flow naturally and gently from song to song, either because of the church service format all because of the leaders in experience.
Programming the Church Service
One of the most significant barriers to learning how to lead praise and worship that flows can be the church service structure. Many churches see the music as punctuation around the other areas of the service, so the church service program allows only one or two songs to be sung in a sequence before the flow is broken up by other activities, such as announcements, the offering, prayer, missionary spots, and so on.
If you want to learn to lead worship that really flows, the first step is to approach the pastor about the format of the meeting. Ask him if he would mind combining all of the above listed activities into one particular place in the service, allowing you to run three or four songs together in worship. This simple change in format can change the way you learn how to lead very significantly.
Blending Songs
One of the key elements in learning how to lead worship effectively lies in song selection. If you select songs in a similar key, or songs that are easily able to be blended together, then you will be going a long way towards a worship service which flows naturally from song to song. This can transform your church because they would no longer be singing a selection of songs that they will be able to flow from song to song and enjoy an entire worship experience. Learning how to do this effectively is one of the great keys in learning how to lead praise and worship in an anointed way.
Speaking Less
One of the most frequent problems I see with inexperienced leaders who are learning how to lead praise and worship is that they speak too much. If it is not going well they speak to the audience, in telling them to get involved or praying with them. Please do not misunderstand, I am not saying it is wrong to speak during the worship service.
However, my experience is that as you learn how to lead praise and worship you will also learn how to keep quiet and let God draw people's hearts into the service, not your words. This allows people to concentrate on the world and not on your thoughts, prayers or opinions. Most of the truly great worship times I have ever experienced, with myself or someone else leading, have involved little or no talking between songs.
There is much more to learn about how to lead praise and worship effectively, but these three points can start you getting the right direction.
